Music Genre Declaration

My theme and genre is the 2000’s relationships in Pop. Some of the artists included are popular teen bands and singers for instance Backstreet Boys, and Brittany Spears. When I was young these were the popular things to listen to. The songs are often about relationships and breakups, topics that would catch a teen’s attention. The songs are usually up beat and happy, so kids enjoyed listening to them. It was often what was being played on the radio, so I became familiar with that type of music. I then started to buy CD’s and listen to things on my own and gain more interest of this type of music.
